Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Children's Circle Montessori School. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Responsibilities
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
  • Encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification
  • Food allergy and anaphylaxis training
  • Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Montessori Early Childhood Teacher Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
