Kitchen Helper Job Description
At Far East Foods, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Kitchen Helper to join our team. As a Kitchen Helper, you will be responsible for assisting our chefs and kitchen staff in the preparation and presentation of our dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients and food items for cooking and presentation.
- Help to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work surfaces.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit as needed.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Efficient interpersonal skills and reliability.
