Beem Credit Union, a leading financial institution in BC, is seeking a visionary Digital Solutions Vice President to spearhead its digital transformation journey. As a key member of the executive team, you will be responsible for crafting and executing a comprehensive digital strategy that will redefine the landscape of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a digital strategy aligned with business objectives, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Foster a culture of digital innovation and experimentation within the organization.
  • Lead strategic partnerships and collaborations with technology vendors, startups, and industry experts.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and performance dashboards to monitor the effectiveness of digital initiatives.

Application Development:

  • Oversee feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical evaluations for new Digital application development projects.
  • Lead the adoption of agile development methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure robust testing, QA, and performance optimization processes.
  • Establish strong governance frameworks, standards, and guidelines for application development.

Technology Delivery:

  • Collaborate with business leaders to define technology roadmaps that align with strategic business objectives.
  • Provide oversight to ensure successful delivery of digital solutions.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement and optimization of technology delivery processes.

Enterprise Application Support:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive application support strategies.
  • Establish and drive a culture of leveraging KPIs and SLAs to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Develop and ensure proactive monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting processes.
  • Collaborate with IT operations and infrastructure teams to plan and implement upgrades and enhancements.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM):

  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop and execute an end-to-end CRM strategy.
  • Lead the implementation of CRM platforms, tools, and analytics solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to align CRM efforts with business goals.
  • Review CRM performance metrics, KPIs, and ROI.

Robotic Process Automation (RPA):

  • Provide direction for comprehensive process assessments, automation feasibility studies, and ROI analyses.
  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of RPA solutions.
  • Direct implementation of governance frameworks, standards, and controls for RPA processes.
  • Ensure monitoring of RPA performance metrics, KPIs, and operational dashboards.

Talent Development and Leadership:

  • Build and lead a high-performing team of digital solutions professionals.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Over years of progressive experience, including senior-level roles.
  • Proven track record in technology application delivery, development, and support.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities with a talent for inspiring teams and driving organizational change.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, architecture principles, and emerging technologies.
  • Skilled in managing cross-functional teams, projects, and budgets.
  • Expertise in managing vendor relationships and strategic partnerships.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic vision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
