Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Howard Johnson Inn. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel rooms and public areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Hire and train cleaning staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
- Inspect hotel rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Recommend and arrange for additional services such as painting, repair work, and renovations to maintain the hotel's appearance.
- Assist housekeeping staff in performing their duties and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that housekeeping staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a housekeeping or related role.
- Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Fluency in English.
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment.
- Initiative and ability to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
- Judgement and reliability in ensuring high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
