Senior Chef and Kitchen Manager

The Regent Hotel is seeking a Senior Chef and Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Senior Chef and Kitchen Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our kitchen. This is a permanent position working 30-40 hours per week with a competitive salary of $55,000-$65,000 annually.
About the RoleAs a Senior Chef and Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen staff, ordering supplies, and maintaining inventory. You will also be involved in training new staff members and ensuring that all food safety guidelines are followed.
You will work closely with our head chef to develop menus and ensure that they are executed flawlessly. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential in this role.
Additional responsibilities include inspecting kitchens and food service areas, preparing special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef, and organizing buffets and banquets.
This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads. However, it also offers a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and development.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, and initiative. You must also be organized, reliable, and a team player with strong time management skills.
