About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef Specialist to join our team at Terravita Kitchen. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to work in a dynamic kitchen environment, creating delicious pastries, breads, and desserts for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare dough and batters according to recipes or special customer orders, using high-quality ingredients and attention to detail.
- Bake mixed dough and batters to produce a variety of pastry products, including breads, rolls, muffins, cookies, cakes, and icings and frostings.
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to create visually appealing treats for our customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards and regulations.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently to meet production demands.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience working as a Pastry Chef or equivalent role in a commercial kitchen setting.
- Proven ability to prepare and bake a variety of pastry products, including breads, rolls, muffins, cookies, cakes, and icings and frostings.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on quality and presentation.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly and contributing to a positive kitchen culture.
