Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the expectations of our discerning guests.
    • Plan and execute menu items, including preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and other support staff.
    • Provide guidance, training, and feedback to ensure that team members are meeting their full potential.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels, including food, supplies, and equipment, to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
    • Monitor and control costs associated with inventory, including food waste and spoilage.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all food products meet our high standards of quality, safety, and presentation.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to identify areas for improvement.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and comply with health and safety regulations and procedures.
    • Conduct regular health and safety audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, including responding to feedback and concerns.
    • Work with other departments to ensure that our guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
    • Safe Food Handling certificate
    • Food Safety Certificate
  • Work Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
    • Permanent employment
    • 35 to 40 hours per week
