About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Operations Manager to join our team at RPS Hawk Inc. As a key member of our farm operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm, ensuring the health and well-being of our livestock, and maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare and farm safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of farm staff, including animal handlers, farmhands, and maintenance personnel.
  • Develop and implement effective farm management strategies to optimize animal health, productivity, and farm efficiency.
  • Monitor and maintain farm equipment, facilities, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and other farm experts to develop and implement disease prevention and control measures.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to animal welfare, environmental sustainability, and farm safety.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in farm operations, animal husbandry, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct farm staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions to complex farm management challenges.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate farm equipment and vehicles.
