Job Title: ADR Operator

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled ADR Operator to join our team at McCain Foods. As an ADR Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of ADR and Veryx equipment to meet customer specifications on defects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate ADR equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Provide support to other plant sorting equipment as needed.
  • Manage wet grading screening.
  • Ensure ADR and Veryx equipment is set to appropriate specifications.
  • Support and cross-train with Cutter deck operator.
  • Change, disassemble, and assemble ADR cutter wheels.
  • Work with peeler operator to maximize recovery.
  • Perform daily tests to ensure product quality and record results.
  • Provide leadership and support to on-shift sanitation team members and production labourers.
  • Maintain documentation, including recipe control and MDI.
  • Ensure daily sanitation and food safety in area.
  • Perform shutdown clean-ups and maintain PPE.
  • Report FM and ICR incidents and assist in investigations.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work shift work on a rotating basis.
  • Familiarity with Infinity, Process Control, MDI, and basic computer skills.
  • Able to recognize 'In Control' and 'Out of Control' parameters.
  • Safe work habits.
  • Effective written, oral, mathematical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Adherence to Company rules, regulations, and policies.
Physical Requirements:
  • Able to manage humidity and high temperature work environment.
  • Physically capable of performing job duties, including lifting 40-50 lbs of potatoes.
  • Able to climb stairs to check equipment and product.
  • Experienced with safe handling of chemicals.
