**Our Colborne Facility**
We are currently expanding our operations at our Colborne facility, and we are seeking highly skilled Extruder Operators to join our team.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Process Monitoring**: Continuously monitor and control the mixer and extruder systems to ensure optimal production quality.
- **Temperature Control**: Set and adjust barrel, die-screw, and cooling temperatures to achieve maximum production efficiency.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks on the mixer and extruder to ensure smooth operation.
- **Product Handling**: Safely handle and transport raw materials and finished products, including weighing and packaging.
- **Data Recording**: Accurately record production data and weights on run sheets.
- **Safety and Compliance**: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including attending regular safety meetings and maintaining a clean work environment.
**Requirements**
- **Education**: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- **Certifications**: Forklift certification and a clear criminal background check.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in a production environment, preferably in a chemical distribution or plastics manufacturing setting.
- **Skills**: Basic computer knowledge, mathematical skills, and the ability to follow detailed instructions and technical procedures.
- **Physical Demands**: Ability to lift 25 kg packages and work a weekly rotating continental shift schedule.
- **Teamwork**: Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
