About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at Tora Restaurants Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality sushi dishes, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook sushi dishes to the highest standards, using fresh and high-quality ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Supervise and train junior chefs and kitchen staff, promoting a positive and productive team culture.
  • Develop and implement new sushi recipes and menu items, staying up-to-date with culinary trends and customer preferences.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a sushi chef in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and sushi preparation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and motivate junior staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality control.
