We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering time-limited, evidence-based psycho-social assessments and treatments to adults with Tier-3 mental disorders and Substance Use Disorders.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in a clinical health-related discipline and current registration with a relevant provincial regulatory body. You will have a minimum of two years' related experience, including assessment and planning, treatment and intervention, and discharge planning.
You will be expected to act in a professional and ethical manner, following all recognized codes of ethics, standards, legislation, and guidelines relevant to clinical practice and profession. You will convey respect and a solid understanding of subtle and complex diversity and inclusion issues as they relate to specific groups.
We are looking for a candidate who is able to take initiative, work independently with limited supervision, and participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team. You will have basic competencies in relation to identifying and treating concurrent mental health and substance use disorders, as well as experience in interviewing, counseling, and teaching health concepts to individuals, families, and groups.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver time-limited, evidence-based psycho-social assessments and treatments to adults with Tier-3 mental disorders and Substance Use Disorders
