We are seeking a skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health. As a Clinical Therapist, you will provide mental health and addiction screening, assessment, crisis intervention, and treatment services to individuals in First Nation communities.
You will work collaboratively with our Health Centre teams and Mental Health and Addictions to provide comprehensive care. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and contribute to the development of our mental health services.
About YouWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a Master's degree in a clinical health-related discipline. You must be registered with the relevant regulatory body and have at least two years of related experience. Your skills and knowledge should include assessment and planning, treatment and intervention, and discharge planning.
You should also have experience in interviewing, counseling, and teaching health concepts to individuals, families, and groups. Additionally, you should have competencies in collaborating with families and identifying and treating concurrent mental health and substance use disorders.
Requirements- Master's degree in a clinical health-related discipline
- Registration with the relevant regulatory body
- At least two years of related experience
- Experience in interviewing, counseling, and teaching health concepts
- Competencies in collaborating with families and identifying and treating concurrent mental health and substance use disorders
We offer a competitive salary range of $37.31 - $49.05 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage.
