Milling Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Milling Shift Supervisor to join our team at Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited. As a key member of our Milling division, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality flour and ensuring the efficient operation of our milling machinery.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and lead a team of operators to achieve optimal flour extraction and quality parameters.
- Maintain mill balance, capacity utilization, performance, and efficiency.
- Work in a safe and sanitary environment, adhering to BRCGS and Food Safety procedures.
- Follow production schedules and make adjustments as needed to meet delivery requirements.
- Monitor equipment condition and perform troubleshooting and minor repairs.
- Communicate with team members to ensure all responsibilities are completed.
- Report any food safety or quality incidents to the QA Department.
- At least 5 years of milling experience.
- Certificate or diploma in flour milling (NABIM or IAOM) is an asset.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office and understanding of ERP systems.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to travel for training.
