Job Title: Flour Milling Team Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flour Milling Team Supervisor to join our team at P & H Milling Group.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of a team of process control and machine operators in a fast-paced flour milling environment. This includes training staff, recommending personnel actions, preparing production reports, and implementing measures to improve productivity and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and develop team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Recommend personnel actions such as hiring, promotions, and disciplinary measures.
  • Prepare and analyze production reports to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members to ensure efficient and safe operation of the flour milling process.
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a flour milling or related industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fast-paced environment with ability to handle heavy loads and work under pressure.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment required.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced flour milling environment with a team of process control and machine operators. The work site is dusty, hot, and noisy.

Hours of Work:
