At Redpath Sugar Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Belleville plant. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing electrical and maintenance support for the entire plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all electrical and maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production, packaging, and ancillary equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to achieve plant maintenance goals

Requirements:

  • Certified Licensed Electrician with experience in an industrial maintenance environment
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including PLCs, relays, and transformers
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with HMI systems and PLC programming
  • Knowledge of Ontario Electrical Code and industry standards
  • Previous experience in a similar role in an industrial manufacturing plant
