Talent Development Director

As a Talent Development Director, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive talent development programs aimed at enhancing the leadership capabilities and professional growth of our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership Development Program Design: Develop and oversee the design of customized leadership development programs tailored to the specific needs and objectives of various employee groups within the organization.
  • Curriculum Development: Create engaging and impactful curriculum content, including workshops, seminars, e-learning modules, and other resources, to support leadership development initiatives.
  • Program Delivery: Facilitate and deliver leadership development programs, workshops, and training sessions, both in-person and virtually, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for participants.
  • Performance Evaluation: Establish metrics and methodologies to assess the effectiveness and impact of talent development programs, and use data-driven insights to continuously improve program content and delivery.
  • Coaching and Mentorship: Provide one-on-one coaching and mentorship to emerging leaders and high-potential employees, offering guidance and support to help them achieve their professional development goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Learning & Development, and departmental leaders, to align talent development initiatives with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Industry Research: Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in talent development, leadership training, and organizational development, and incorporate relevant insights into program design and delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (8 years) in talent development, leadership development, or organizational development roles, with a focus on designing and delivering leadership development programs.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other training delivery platforms.
  • Relevant certifications such as CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) or similar are a plus.
