Construction Labourer

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at JAKU CONSTRUCTION. The ideal candidate will have experience working on construction sites and be physically fit to perform the demands of the job.
Key Responsibilities
- Load, unload and transport construction materials
- Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials
- Clean and lubricate cranes
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
- Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
- Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
- Operate bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move and place plant machinery and materials
- Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
- Pave and rake asphalt
- Assist in demolishing buildings
- Perform routine maintenance work
Work Environment
This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a fast-paced environment with noisy and dusty conditions. The successful candidate will be required to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience an asset
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
