About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Collaborate with our team to design and implement child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our students, promoting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Storytelling and Engagement: Engage children in activities through storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts, fostering a love for learning and creativity.
  • Support and Guidance: Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, providing individualized support and guidance as needed.
  • Observation and Reporting: Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Staff Meetings and Collaboration: Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance our educational programs.
  • Environment and Safety: Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children, adhering to our preschool's high standards and regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certifications and Memberships: Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to perform repetitive tasks, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, flexibility, and excellent written and oral communication skills
