Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Venue Music Sportsbar & Grill. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Administrative Tasks: Prepare budget and cost estimates, prepare and submit reports, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment:

The Venue Music Sportsbar & Grill is a fast-paced environment where you will be required to work under pressure, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
