Product Engineer Role at Vuteq Canada Inc.

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer to join our Advanced Development Team at Vuteq Canada Inc. As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of customer projects/products and researching new materials and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support product research and development projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify customer needs and develop innovative solutions.
  • Develop new materials and processes based on customer requirements, working closely with Tooling engineers and Process Engineering to optimize designs and builds.
  • Participate in development project meetings and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Deliver technical presentations to both internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating complex ideas and solutions.
  • Lead customer and supplier communication, supporting VAVE items during meetings and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Project Development Tasks:
  • Conduct design experiments to test and validate product designs, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Coordinate with vendors to procure equipment and materials, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Conduct tests and trials on designs, analyzing results and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Present final findings to managers and OEM Engineering, effectively communicating results and recommendations.
Program Support:
  • Study DWI/SWC standards to ensure compliance and best practices in product development.
  • Learn Vuteq Process Development program history with the team, understanding the company's approach to product development.
  • Identify root causes of issues and develop solutions, working collaboratively with the team to implement changes.
  • Brainstorm solutions and implementation plans, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license is required for travel and business purposes.
  • A willingness to travel and obtain a valid Canadian Passport is necessary for international business trips.
