Product Engineer Role at Vuteq Canada Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage product research and development projects to meet customer needs and drive business growth.
  • Develop new materials and processes to enhance product performance and efficiency.
  • Lead project meetings and provide technical presentations to stakeholders.
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers to optimize product designs and ensure timely delivery.
  • Conduct prototyping, benchmarking, testing, and machine development to validate product performance.
  • Analyze existing automotive parts for safety and performance to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Proficiency in CATIA V5, Unigraphics, or Solidworks, knowledge of engineering processes like PPAP, APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, and experience in product development and project coordination.
  • Skills: Time management and prioritization, strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to analyze data and problem-solve, and organizational and leadership skills.
  • Other Requirements: Valid driver's license and willingness to travel, fluency in a second language is an asset.
