Job Title: Life Cycle Manager

New Flyer is a leading manufacturer of heavy-duty transit buses, and we're seeking a skilled Life Cycle Manager to join our team. As a Life Cycle Manager, you will be responsible for driving customer success and New Flyer's profitability through a successful customer/New Flyer partnership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage a customer playbook to track and communicate program objectives, plans, and metrics.
  • Oversee and assist New Flyer owners to ensure tasks are completed on time.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage program metrics and targets jointly established by New Flyer and the customer.
  • Conduct customer onsite visits to match frequency and duration with customer strategies.
  • Manage and analyze vehicle health data to ensure appropriate countermeasures are taken to improve reliability and bus availability.
  • Support sales and service staff to assess and plan future retrofits and commercial opportunities.
  • Coordinate business and technical studies for customers to identify potential future opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education or applicable technical diploma.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in transit or a related industry.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Analytical software and MS Office skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and communicate engineering concepts.
  • Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong attention to detail.
