Job Title: Desktop Support Technician

At Traffic Tech, we are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Information Technology department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our desktop systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and support desktops, laptops, and printer hardware and applications.
  • Support remote access infrastructure, including VPN and mobile devices.
  • Administer user accounts in Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD.
  • Manage and prioritize support requests via ticketing system.
  • Remedy situations during or after working hours, when necessary.
  • Document tasks and solutions to contribute to the knowledge base.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in an IT support environment.
  • Diploma in computer science, DEP in computer support, or similar training.
  • Active Directory and Exchange account management.
  • Remote access software such as TeamViewer, RDS, Citrix etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems.
  • Experience with Windows servers (2012/2016/2019).
  • Experience with Microsoft Autopilot and/or Intune.
  • Familiarity with Networking Principles and Windows Domains.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications.
  • Experience supporting smartphones.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer service oriented and ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to speak Spanish is considered an asset.
