Job Title: Restaurant Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Island Burgers Inc. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of restaurant staff
  • Set and manage staff work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and minimize labor costs
  • Supervise and direct staff to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard
  • Conduct regular performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to staff
  • Manage inventory and maintain accurate records of stock levels and sales
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and that the restaurant is maintained in a clean and safe environment
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Lead and instruct staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve any customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner
  • Perform administrative tasks such as payroll, scheduling, and inventory management
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure that the restaurant is running efficiently and effectively

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Physical stamina to work in a standing position for extended periods
