About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Repair Technician to join our team at SPEEDY AUTO BODY INC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are repaired to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate Repair Costs: Accurately assess the damage to vehicles and provide detailed estimates for repair costs.
  • Inspect Repaired Vehicles: Conduct thorough inspections to ensure that all repairs meet our high standards.
  • Plan Repair Work: Develop and implement repair plans to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Perform Body Repairs: Use a variety of techniques and tools to repair and restore damaged body panels and components.
  • Prepare Vehicles for Painting: Mask and tape surfaces to ensure a smooth and even finish.
  • Operate Equipment: Safely operate a range of equipment, including soldering equipment and frame straightening machines.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with other technicians and support staff to ensure that all repairs are completed to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Work Site Environment: Our workshop is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Area of Work Experience: Body components, doors and frame, frame straightening, front end components, interior components, metal cutting, paint spraying, underbody components, uni body machine, and welding.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workshop.
  • Working Hours: 35 hours per week.
