Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the strategic vision for the Psychology Clinic, aligning with the University's goals and objectives.
- Supervise and manage a team of staff psychologists and frontline staff, ensuring excellent clinical services and a positive work environment.
- Provide clinical supervision to graduate students, pre-doctoral residents, and provisionally registered psychologists, promoting their professional development and growth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with third-party organizations, such as health regions and insurance companies, to secure referrals and partnerships.
- Oversee the clinic's budget, resources, and operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective management of finances.
- Ensure compliance with provincial and national standards of ethics and practice, maintaining the clinic's reputation and accreditation.
- Monitor and evaluate student performance, providing feedback and guidance to support their growth and development.
- Provide direct clinical services to clients, including assessment, intervention, and supervision.
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from a CPA-accredited program or an APA-accredited program.
- Current registration as a Psychologist in Saskatchewan or full registration in another jurisdiction covered under the Mutual Recognition Agreement.
- Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE) within the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists.
- Experience in providing clinical supervision, administrative duties, and organizational management in a clinical setting.
- Excellent communication, management, and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
