Clinical Research Scientist, Oncology

Astellas is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Scientist to join our Oncology team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a critical role in the development of innovative therapies for patients.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and monitor clinical studies to support the development of new cancer therapies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop clinical strategies and protocols for assigned modalities or indications.
- Provide clinical expertise to support the development of clinical study reports, investigator brochures, and informed consents.
- Participate in the preparation of clinical development plans, site identification and management, and DESC meetings.
- Lead working groups and/or sub-team initiatives to support protocol, disease area, or clinical development plan.
- Partner with Global Medical Lead and Product Responsible Person to prepare analysis for Health Authority (HA) Meetings and address HA inquiries.
- Support the development of strategic partnerships with Key External Experts (KEEs) and represent development in assessment of candidates within discovery.
- PhD or MD in a relevant field with significant experience in clinical development.
- Strong understanding of clinical development principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
