At First Choice Haircutters, we are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an Apprentice Hairstylist. As an Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of a licensed stylist to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in providing exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guests with excellent service, including cutting, styling, coloring, washing, and perming hair, as well as providing wax treatments.
- Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our guests.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our services and products to provide quality consultations and recommendations.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as completing transactions on the computerized register and performing close-out procedures.
Requirements:
- Must obtain a Certificate of Qualification or be registered as an apprentice.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional guest service.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and stand for sustained periods of time.
