Line Cook Supervisor

As a Chef de Partie at Tigh-Na-Mara Resorts Ltd, you will play a crucial role in our culinary operations, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of a trades certificate or diploma in culinary arts.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 to 3 years in a similar role or equivalent experience.
Our establishment is a vibrant hotel and resort setting, providing a dynamic atmosphere for culinary professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and calculate the necessary quantities and costs of food supplies.
- Maintain comprehensive records of food expenses, usage, sales, and inventory.
- Showcase innovative cooking techniques and equipment to kitchen staff.
- Oversee the work of specialized chefs, cooks, and kitchen personnel.
- Develop and create unique recipes.
- Guide cooks in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of dishes.
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty items for events, including banquets.
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure efficient operations.
- Regularly prepare and cook meals for guests and special occasions.
- Order food and kitchen supplies as needed.
- Design menus that meet quality standards and dietary requirements.
- Prepare dishes accommodating food allergies and intolerances.
- Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety practices.
- Possession of a valid Food Safety Certificate is required.
- Fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical demands include handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
