Job Summary

CPP Investments is seeking a highly experienced Director, Assurance to lead the effective planning and execution of audits, providing advisory services, and implementing ways to streamline audit processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of audits, developing objectives and scope, optimizing resourcing, and ensuring adherence to audit standards.
  • Provide advisory services to management, identifying insightful findings and producing informative reports.
  • Streamline audit processes to support shorter, more targeted audits.
  • Foster an inclusive team environment, promoting diversity and trust.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and opportunities for professional development to team members.
  • Demonstrate the highest ethical standards, building and maintaining strong relationships with management.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting, business, finance, or related discipline; postgraduate degree a plus.
  • Professional designations such as CPA, CFA, CIA, CISA, or CBV.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in consulting, internal/external audit, and/or risk management at large financial institutions.
  • Broad knowledge of investment and asset management, audit methodologies, project management, and risk management practices.
