As a Mission Assurance Director, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and coordinating all mission assurance activities for the LEO satellite network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and provide the mission assurance vision to ensure program success.
- Coordinate all mission assurance activities, ensuring seamless integration with the program team.
- Plan and manage the mission assurance organization and team, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Design and implement a system for managing mission-critical processes and program quality processes.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and growth opportunities to the wider mission assurance team.
- Oversee quality and nonconformance reporting, corrective and preventative action, supplier/third-party quality, and mission assurance activities.
- Lead reviews, audits, and investigations, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry standards.
Key Skills & Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a Master's degree in Engineering Management preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in engineering development, covering both hardware and software, ideally in communications or satellite engineering.
- 5+ years of experience as a Manager, with Mission Assurance experience.
- Proven expertise in assessing technical statuses/issues within hardware, software, and operations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with engineers, internal and external stakeholders, and senior management.
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident Holder.
This opportunity offers a hybrid work model with 3 days in the office, providing a perfect balance between work and personal life.
