We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team at Dr. Assumpta Efofi Medical Professional Corporation. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated physician to provide quality patient care and contribute to the growth of our organization.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in family medicine, with a passion for delivering comprehensive primary care services. Responsibilities will include:
- Patient Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough medical assessments, diagnose and treat various conditions, and prescribe medications as necessary.
- Health Education and Promotion: Educate patients on healthy habits, disease prevention, and wellness strategies to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Collaboration with Other Healthcare Professionals: Work effectively with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Staff Supervision and Training: Provide guidance and oversight to support staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will be required to:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A valid medical license and certification from the College of Family Physicians Canada (CCFP).
- Recent experience in family medicine, preferably in an urban setting.
- Excellent clinical skills, with the ability to diagnose and manage complex cases.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a focus on staying current with best practices and emerging trends in family medicine.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including:
- An annual salary of $220,000 - $280,000, commensurate with experience.
