AI Architecture Lead for Paralucent

We are seeking a seasoned AI architecture expert to lead the design and implementation of our Gen AI system at Paralucent. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in enterprise architecture, preferably in the AI or machine learning domain.

Key Responsibilities:

1. **Architecture Design**: As AI Architecture Lead, you will be responsible for designing the overall architecture of our Gen AI system, encompassing its components, modules, and integration points. This involves understanding business requirements, technology landscapes, and data infrastructure to create scalable and robust architectures.

2. **Technology Evaluation**: You will evaluate and select suitable technologies and tools required for our Gen AI system, assessing existing technologies within Paralucent and identifying any gaps that need to be addressed.

3. Data Integration: Collaborate with data engineering teams to define data integration strategies, ensuring seamless data flow between various systems. This includes designing data pipelines, data storage solutions, and data governance frameworks to ensure data quality and integrity.

4. Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks within our Gen AI system. Optimize algorithms, improve data processing efficiency, and implement caching mechanisms to enhance system performance and response time.

5. Security and Compliance: Work closely with security and compliance teams to ensure our Gen AI system adheres to industry standards and best practices. Implement security controls, encryption mechanisms, and access management policies to protect sensitive data and mitigate risks.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions. Communicate architecture and design decisions to stakeholders, including senior management and executives.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an enterprise architect, preferably in the AI or machine learning domain.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, including natural language processing, machine learning algorithms, and deep learning frameworks.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable and distributed systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure (required), AWS, or Google Cloud, and related services.
  • Knowledge of data integration techniques and technologies, such as ETL, data pipelines, and data lakes.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance requirements in AI systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is CAD 150,000 - CAD 180,000 per annum, based on Canadian market rates.
