We are seeking a highly skilled Railcar Repair Technician to join our team at Procor Limited, Canada's largest private tank car lease fleet.

The successful candidate will have experience in railcar repair and maintenance, with a strong understanding of AAR standards. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for a stable position with advancement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cut, fit, and repair railcars, their components, and other items as necessary to facilitate railcar repair.
  • Perform all necessary AAR repairs to railcars including cutting, straightening, and car repair.
  • Perform and document quality control checks as required by Company quality standards.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance checks on used equipment.
  • Comply with company and regulatory safety and environmental standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in railcar repair and maintenance is essential.
  • Able to perform all necessary NDT testing.
  • Competent and safe use of hand tools and power equipment.
  • Must be able to read and understand written work orders and material safety data sheets.
  • Must be able to work in an environment with continuous exposure to outdoor weather conditions with dust, fumes, and noise.
  • Must be able to climb, stoop, and bend repeatedly, carry hand and power tools.
