Job Title: Recruitment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Recruitment Specialist to join our team at Great Connections Employment Services Inc. As a Recruitment Specialist, you will play a key role in identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, providing information and services to employees, and advising job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and provide recommendations to management
  • Collect and screen applicants, and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
  • Review candidate inventories and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
  • Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
  • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
  • Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing and record-keeping duties
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment with 33 to 35 hours per week
  • Language of work: English
