Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to join our team at WJS Canada. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of programs that support individuals with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Program Development and Implementation: Develop and implement programs that align with our agency's mission and values, ensuring high-quality services that meet the needs of our clients.
  2. Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and guidance to program managers and staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  3. Financial Management: Oversee the financial management of programs, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  4. Human Resources: Provide human resources generalist expertise, including recruitment, training, and employee relations.
  5. Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and government agencies to promote our programs and services.
  6. Quality Assurance: Ensure that programs meet or exceed quality standards, including compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  7. Reporting and Evaluation: Develop and implement evaluation plans, and provide regular reports to stakeholders on program performance and outcomes.
Requirements
  1. Education: A degree in a relevant field, such as social work, business administration, or a related field.
  2. Experience: A minimum of three to five years of experience in a similar management or human resources generalist position.
  3. Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Certifications: Current WCB Occupational First Aid, Level 1 and CPR certificates required.
