Automotive Customer Service Representative

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Customer Service Representative to join our team in British Columbia. As a key member of our customer-facing staff, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty to our brand.
Main Responsibilities:
- Meet and greet clients in a friendly and courteous manner
- Handle client concerns and/or misunderstandings with professionalism and tact
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance
- Obtain pre-authorization costs, parts availability, and payments from clients
- Review and monitor all appointment files, recommendations, scheduled maintenance, and check for previous service recommendations
- Explain recommended services or repairs to clients, highlighting the benefits and importance of each task
- Monitor the repair process, checking job status and updating work in progress
- Keep clients informed about the progress of their vehicle's repair or maintenance
- Participate in monthly CSI score review and day-to-day performance evaluation
- Discuss loaner policies and warranty details with clients as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., automotive technology) an asset
- 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the automotive industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse clients and colleagues
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment
- Proficiency in basic computer software applications, including Microsoft Office and automotive management systems
