Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec nos équipes de litige et de gestion des avantages accidentels pour résoudre les dossiers complexes et aider nos clients à atteindre leurs objectifs. Vous disposerez des ressources nécessaires pour apprendre et évoluer, ainsi que de l'opportunité de partager vos connaissances et de coacher vos collègues. Vous serez également en mesure de contribuer à la définition de notre stratégie en matière de contrôle des indemnités et des dépenses.

Vous apporterez vos compétences et votre expérience pour:

  • Travailler de manière autonome et collaborer avec une équipe de juristes, d'adjoints et de professionnels du soutien juridique de haute performance
  • Aider Intact à atteindre ses objectifs stratégiques en matière de contrôle des indemnités et des dépenses
  • Gérer les dossiers d'avantages accidentels, les litiges de transfert de responsabilité et les litiges de priorité de début à fin
  • Apparaître devant le Tribunal d'appel de la licence et préparer des soumissions écrites et orales comme nécessaire
  • Évaluer les demandes avec un focus sur le contrôle des indemnités tout en étant pragmatique et en recherche d'une résolution efficace
  • Partager vos connaissances et coacher vos collègues d'Intact à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur de votre département

Vous apporterez également:

  • Des compétences en organisation, en communication et en négociation solides pour gérer un pratique occupé, y compris travailler efficacement avec le personnel de soutien juridique, y compris les assistants juridiques, les clercs juridiques et le personnel administratif
  • Des compétences interpersonnelles solides, une nature pour travailler collaborativement avec d'autres et bâtir des relations client efficaces qui vous feront un excellent membre d'équipe et contribueront à un environnement de travail positif
  • Une capacité à penser de manière créative, trouver des solutions innovantes et être un problèmeur pragmatique

Le candidat idéal est/est:

  • Un membre en règle de la Société du Barreau de l'Ontario
  • Expérimenté dans l'évaluation et la gestion des dossiers d'avantages accidentels
  • Expérimenté dans l'apparition devant le Tribunal d'appel de la licence
  • Expérimenté dans l'assistance à des arbitrages privés serait considéré comme un atout
  • Expérimenté dans la gestion de dossiers de réclamations catastrophiques d'avantages accidentels est un atout
  • Proficient et à l'aise avec les solutions numériques dans la pratique du droit
  • Des compétences en communication et en négociation exceptionnelles
