About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at McMillan Mechanical Ltd. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Repair Automotive Issues
    • Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify problems with automotive systems
    • Repair or replace faulty components as needed
  • Perform Routine Maintenance
    • Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tire rotations
    • Inspect vehicles to identify potential issues before they become major problems
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service
    • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and concerns
    • Provide timely and accurate estimates for repairs
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications
    • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
    • Automotive Service Technician (Fuel and Electrical Systems) Trade Certification
    • Automotive Service Technician (Steering, Suspension and Brakes) Trade Certification
    • Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Certificate
  • Experience and Skills
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the automotive industry
    • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong communication and customer service skills
