At Compass Group Canada, we're looking for a skilled Operations Coordinator to join our team. As an Operations Coordinator, you'll play a key role in coordinating activities and providing administrative support for our operations, internal departments, and external clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating activities and administrative support for operations, internal departments, and external clients
  • Working with operators to monitor expenses and budget
  • Managing the process for new contracts by ensuring amendments are added to old contracts
  • Updating and maintaining records of communications in account files
  • Creating and maintaining a review spreadsheet to identify trends, gaps, and suggestions for continuous improvement
  • Reviewing and analyzing weekly labor capture spreadsheets
  • Monitoring, tracking, and documenting allocation of fixed assets
  • Capturing and tracking new RFPs in process
  • Attending monthly and periodic meetings, taking and distributing meeting minutes
  • Generating CleanTelligent and month-end reports
  • Updating organization charts
  • Handling mail, faxes, and couriers

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 3 years' financial/accounting experience
  • 3 years' experience working with operations within a large complex organization
  • Post-secondary education required; accounting degree preferred
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and multitasking ability
  • Very strong written communication skills
  • Experience with financial analysis preferred

Strong computer skills, including Word and Excel, with experience with JDE an asset.
