Food Services Manager

Pita Land is seeking a highly skilled Food Services Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits
- Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement
- Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
- Monitor revenues to determine labor costs
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback
- Plan and organize daily operations to ensure seamless service
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to meet business needs
- Set staff work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
- Supervise staff and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
- Cost products and services to ensure profitability
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient operations
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales growth
- Leading/instructing individuals to achieve business objectives
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
- First Aid Certificate, Occupational Health and Safety Certificate, Safe Food Handling certificate, and Food Safety Certificate
- Accounting software, Point of Sale system, and Spreadsheet skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet business needs
