Job Title: Substitute Educational Assistant at Blessed Sacrament School

We are seeking a qualified Substitute Educational Assistant to join our team at Blessed Sacrament School in Wainwright, Alberta. As a Substitute Educational Assistant, you will work closely with children with special needs, providing support and assistance to ensure their educational and personal needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with special needs, including academic and personal assistance
  • Assist with lesson planning and implementation, as needed
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure a collaborative approach to student support
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • Experience working with children with special needs an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
