About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Stable Hand at L'Ecurie Colibri. As a key member of our farm team, you will be responsible for the care and well-being of our horses, as well as assisting with various farm tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and guide the behavior of farm animals, ensuring their health and well-being.
  • Diagnose and address livestock health issues, working closely with our veterinarian to provide the best possible care.
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, ensuring efficient and safe operation.
  • Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed, maintaining a clean and healthy environment for our animals.
  • Train horses for competitions and shows, working closely with our trainers to develop their skills and abilities.
  • Perform general farm duties, including cleaning stables, barns, and pens, as well as feeding and tending to our animals.
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on animal welfare and safety.
  • Experience working with horses and farm animals, with a strong understanding of their behavior and needs.
  • Ability to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on attention to detail and ability to multitask.
