Job Title: Stable Hand

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Stable Hand to join our team at L'Ecurie Colibri. As a Stable Hand, you will be responsible for the daily care and maintenance of our horses, ensuring their health and well-being.

Job Description:Responsibilities:
  • Feed and tend to horses, ensuring they receive proper nutrition and care.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the stables, including mucking out stalls and disposing of waste.
  • Develop and guide the behavior of farm animals, including horses, to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Diagnose and address any health issues in livestock, working closely with veterinarians as needed.
  • Perform general farm duties, including operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed at all times.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with horses and livestock.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
