Job Title: Welder Fitter

We are seeking a skilled Welder Fitter to join our team at Heath & Sherwood (1964) Limited. As a Welder Fitter, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal parts and products using various welding and metal shaping techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and read blueprints, drawings, and manuals to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, brakes, shears, and other metal shaping machines to fabricate and assemble metal parts and products.
  • Fabricate and assemble metal parts and products using welding, brazing, and soldering techniques.
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production deadlines and achieve quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication.
  • Excellent manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
