As a Cloud Computing Engineer with Infoya, you will play a vital role in driving our clients' digital transformation by providing innovative solutions and cutting-edge technologies. With a strong focus on cloud computing, you will design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments to ensure smooth, reliable releases.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional with a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 5 years of work experience is required, with expertise in Cloud Computing platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your technical skills should include Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker, Bamboo, Maven, Cloud Build, Ansible, GitHub Actions, Spinnaker, GIT, Bitbucket, Groovy, and MySQL.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Kubernetes clusters, performing health checks, security updates, and fine-tuning configurations for optimal performance.
  • Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments to ensure smooth, reliable releases.
  • Integrate security checks, static analysis, and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines for enhanced code quality and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain Jenkins pipelines, resolving build issues and minimizing pipeline disruptions.
  • Debug and resolve issues in Java-based microservices, collaborating closely with development teams on critical fixes and improvements.
  • Work with development teams to enhance application performance, support infrastructure as code (IaC) practices, and refine deployment processes.
  • Implement and maintain comprehensive service monitoring (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Actively troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve issues, documenting insights for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate deployment and release activities across environments, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient rollouts.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in Cloud Computing.
  • Expertise in Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker, Bamboo, Maven, Cloud Build, Ansible, GitHub Actions, Spinnaker, GIT, Bitbucket, Groovy, and MySQL.
  • Strong proficiency in troubleshooting networking issues and scripting.
  • Expertise in Linux Administration, including setting up and supporting HA Clusters.
  • Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, and monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, and Nexus.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
