As a key member of our microbiology laboratory, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory activities and maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of laboratory analysts and assistants
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they meet their performance objectives
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of team goals and objectives
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance
    • Ensure that laboratory activities are conducted in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
    • Monitor and report any deviations or non-compliance with laboratory procedures and regulations
    • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to investigate and resolve any quality-related issues
  • Technical Expertise
    • Provide technical expertise and support to laboratory analysts and assistants
    • Develop and implement new analytical techniques and instruments
    • Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and analytical methods
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with laboratory team members, quality assurance team, and other stakeholders
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless laboratory operations
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. microbiology, biology, chemistry)
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a pharmaceutical industry
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Good knowledge of microbiology analyzes in the pharmaceutical industry (sterile and non-sterile)
    • Knowledge of GMPs and GLPs
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft office
    • Good level of French and English, both spoken and written
