Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Health Care Professional to join our team at the Red Fish Healing Centre. As a Health Care Worker/Driver, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to clients with complex mental health and substance use challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor clients' progress and document observations in accordance with standard procedures.
  • Participate in the admission, case planning, and discharge process for clients by conducting interviews, gathering relevant information, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Drive clients to designated locations as scheduled, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including time management, organization, and interpersonal communication.
  • Establish rapport with clients based on respect and provide emotional support and counseling as needed.

Requirements

  • Diploma from a recognized Social Services Support Worker educational program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Class 4 driver's license (unrestricted).
  • Knowledge of the principles of recovery in mental illness and substance misuse.
  • Ability to demonstrate and assist clients with development of health life skills.
