Job Title: Carpenter - Framing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter - Framing Specialist to join our team at Dziadyk Framing Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for framing and installing building frames, ensuring that our projects are completed to the highest standards.

Work Environment

As a Carpenter - Framing Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often at heights and in confined spaces. You will be required to work outdoors and in noisy, dusty conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
Requirements
  • Pre-apprenticeship training or equivalent experience
  • Level one apprenticeship training or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's licence and own transportation
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles
